Fine double-page mezzotint portrait, 15 folding maps and plans, some folding, 157 plates including a few aquatints, some double-page or folding, 13 plates of shells on 11 sheets, 5 plates of coins and tokens, 18 folding printed genealogical tables, several engravings in the text. (One table slightly defective.) 19th-century maroon morocco, spines brightly gilt in compartments, ornate rococo border round sides, gilt edges, each volume with a red leather chemise (chemises worn).
